ST LOUIS: The Center of Indian Cultural Education – Bal Vihar of St. Louis and the Hindu temple of St. Louis legally entered into a revised lease agreement on Nov 9 to use new community center next to the temple to accelerate a common goal of instilling Indian culture in future generations.
To support this multi-million dollar community center, Bal Vihar had presented a check of $250,000 to the Hindu Temple two years ago towards the construction of the building. Upon occupancy of the center for the school year 2019-2020, the school will give the HT additional $150,000 for building interiors. In addition, Bal Vihar school families and supporters have also donated over $1 million for the project so far since 2014.
The revised contract was signed by Dr. Krishna Reddy, Current Chairman of the Hindu temple of St. Louis Board of Trustees and Dr. Sudhir Brahmbhatt, President of Bal Vihar. Bal Vihar school executive directors Subu Subramanian and Dr. Ashok Kumar were also in attendance at the event.
in 1992, the Center for Indian Cultural Education is a non-profit organization. Its mission is to promote, instill, and foster Indian culture in children of ages from 5 years to 15 years. For the last 25 years, the organization has helped groom a breed of multi-cultural global leaders of next generation that have been shaped by the best of the cultures from east and west.
