Shashtri Sri Barathbhai Rajgor explained and narrated the Bhagwat Katha in his impressive unique style.  There were 201 “pothies” sponsored by dedicated Krishna followers and 400 to 500 people who participated at each day’s events.  During the day’s events, the recital of Shlokas from the Bhagwat Katha is very neatly interlaced with bhajans.

The Katha usually starts with story of King Parishit and is followed by tales of incarnations of Lord Vishnu.  The most interesting section of the Katha relates to the life of Lord Krishna fright from his childhood to adolescence.  The peasants on Krishna Janam (Birth of the Lord), Gopi Raas Leela (Lord dancing with Radha and her friends), Rukmini Vivah (Lord getting married with Rukmini) are each celebrated as actual events and inspire great festivities.

Emotional bananas and dances were featured on each day of the event.  Shri mad Bhagwat Katha was a balanced mix of pure Bhakti, which does not need any logic and guan, were each shlok was explained in detail.  The music was provided by Sanjeevbhai Munshi and Vikasbhai Jadhav. Everyday started with 15 minutes of a ceremonial prayer by Bharatbhai Dahyabhai Rawal.  The organization and management of the event was supervised by Shreemati Naliniben Rajgor with the sincere work done by Nileshbhai Desai, Vireshbhai Desai, Pareshbhai Desai, Pravinbhai Patel (President).
