HAYWARD, CA: “Tunak Tunak Tun”, “Bhangra King”, “Indian Pop Baadshah” all conjure up one name – Daler Mehndi. Coming from a family of music lovers, Daler hit it big with his first album “Bole Ta Ra Ra” and ever since has created a music genre of its own. He used his strong background in music, love for Punjabi and a passion for experimenting with different styles to give hit songs one after another.
Over past two decades, Daler Mehndi has been entertaining music lovers with non-stop music hits and has performed to packed halls across the world. His latest hit song is ” Besharam: Chal Hand Uthake Nachche” for movie Besharam.
Mehta Entertainment organized his latest tour in US. Daler performed his musical magic in Las Vegas and San Francisco Bay area. His tour was widely anticipated and his fans were eagerly waiting for the day. Deepak Mehta, CEO of Mehta Entertainment said that all his shows were grand successes and fans enjoyed to the hilt.
Daler Mehndi performed in Bay area at Chabot College Performing Arts Center, 25555 Hesperian Blvd, Hayward, CA. Performing along with him was Meera, a leading singer from Pakistan and his singer brother Harjeet Mehndi.
Meera had the stage on fire with her exotic dance numbers and performances. Everyone became an instant fan of hers. Daler Mehndi and his crew performed hit songs one after another and entertained the audience. As the show progressed, many people gathered in front of the stage and it converted into a full fledged Punjabi dance fest.
In wrapping up his hectic tour, Daler won hearts of his audience in Bay area.
