SCHAUMBURG: After a resounding decision in the 8th Congressional District Republican Primary on March 18, Republican Nominee Larry Kaifesh took an opportunity to thank Indian-Americans for their contribution and support, and also urged for still larger support for the crucial November election.
“I would like to thank our friends in the Indian-American Community for their support and I look forward to working with them moving forward,” said Kaifesh. “As I have said before, in the 8th Congressional District, Indian-Americans are an integral part of the fabric of our communities and we need to work together to improve the economic outlook for our communities.”
On March 25, Larry Kaifesh won a resounding victory, defeating his opponent, 72%-28%, after an intense campaign.
“I would particularly like to thank Nimesh Jani and other members of the Indian American Republican Organization,” added Kaifesh. “Their support was crucial to the success of our campaign and will continue to be an asset.”
