CHICAGO: Madhu Patel, founding president of NRI Press Club in Chicago lost his elder brother Jashubhai O Patel, 75, here after a prolonged bout of illness.
Jashubhai, a locomotive engineer from Gujarat in India had migrated to this country in the seventies. He had an amiable character with lot of friends and connections. He was involved in socio-religious activities and organizations and played an important role in founding of Swaminarayan Temple in Wheeling, a north west suburb of Chicago. He will be sorely missed by many friends and family members.
Agnisanskar/Funeral services were held on Saturday August 25 at Buhemian National Cemetery (Foster at Pulaski) Chicago, attended by hundreds of mourning family members, relatives and friends.
