NORWALK, CA: Radha Krishna Mandir in Norwalk began its ten day Navratri festivity with unprecedented excitement and burst of activities.
Yet again this year the temple hosted Raas Garba on its premises. The tent was bigger than the one in previous years and a record attendance was seen during the week. Attendees came together to enjoy in the traditional folk dance of Gujarat known as Garba and Dandia.
This is Radha Krishna Mandir’s flagship event where all attendees can enjoy the events free of charge. The Mandir organized ample parking arrangements with security, chai, and snacks at no charge for the attendees.
The young and energetic Board of Trustees with their vision and zeal saw their hard work pay off with a successful ten-day event.
Attendees of the event enjoyed the fabulous music and singing which was provided by Bhavna Patel and group. One attendee stated, “With such a great group of musicians playing some of my favorite Garba songs as well as new songs, it made the night fly by!”
