Iftekhar Shareef who hosted the welcome-dinner reception welcomed the guest and offered him a tradition shawl. He described him as a shining leader of the local masses in Hyderabad (Ranga Reddy District) of Andhra Pradesh and pointed out that he is greatly esteemed by the people for his steadfast public service and for providing hope, help and inspiration to the local population. Shareef observed that Dr Prem, with outstanding political acumen, is poised to emerge as a state leader in the next election.
In his 30-minute inspiring address, Dr Raj lambasted the inept and corrupt government that is currently governing India and narrated in harrowing details as to how the common masses are put to untold pain and suffering by their failed policies, poor governance and lack of responsibility and transparency.
He predicted that rapidly changing political landscape in India will send a resounding victory to reestablish BJP governance. He said that results from the recent five state elections will clearly put BJP on the top in its race towards the 2014 general elections.
With this new wave of political change, Dr Prem Raj stressed it will catapult Narendra Modi to the prime ministerial position compelled by the rising tides of unabated corruption, poor governance. Dr Prem Raj asserted Hindutva is not a religion but a way of life.
Touching upon the Andhra-Telangana imbroglio, he said there is no bifurcation – it is a matter of reestablishing the Telangana state as it was originally in 1948. He castigated the misapprehension that BJP/NDA is averse to minorities particularly Muslims and Christians. He reiterated that the NDA government was secular in spirit and had launched several schemes and policies that were legislated to give impetus to the minority communities in India, which have and will benefit from them.
Welcoming the visiting leader, Dr Bharat Barai outlined why he supports NDA governmental policies. “They are designed to uplift the masses in India.” He added that the policies of BJP pitch for people-centric governance.
Among others who spoke in welcoming Dr Prem Raj were Babu Marsha Patel. Amar Uphadyay also addressed the gathering and Bhailal Patel proposed a vote of thanks.
