Coinciding with its upcoming convention in 2018, Telangana American Telugu Association (T.A.T.A) has taken up the task of doing Seva in the US and in Telangana.
T.A.T.A Seva Days is the brain child of Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy Chair, Advisory Council led by T.A.T.A President Jhansi Reddy with coordinator Vamshi Reddy and Advisor Bharath Madadi and co-coordinators Venkat Aekka and Jyothi Reddy.
The entire T.A.T.A board is flying to Telangana marking this important milestone knowing the need to serve the people in the home state where they all hail from. Programs include supplying water purifier plants to villages, providing school bags to over 5000 children, school supplies to over 15,000 children, 2 bedroom housing for elderly people, libraries, land to gram panchayats, Mega Medical camps with service to thousands of villagers while 25 specialty doctors are being called in.
Other signature T.A.T.A programs include 5k run called ‘Woman Empowerment, Diffuse Stress’ from KBR Park and scholarship amount distribution to meritorious students from 31 Telangana districts and 13 Andhra Pradesh Districts. The Seva will be performed in all districts and the T.A.T.A team will be on ground during these days and will be interacting with all people.
The Grand Finale will be at Shilpa Kala Vedika with cultural, literary and other programs and will be jointly conducted with American Telugu Association with whom T.A.T.A will be conducting convention in 2018. T.A.T.A lifetime achievement award is also being planned to be given and the names are being considered actively at this time.
