CHICAGO: President of American Association of Engineers of Indian Origin Gladson Varghese received 2023 Exemplary Community Service Award in recognition of his Outstanding Leadership and dedicated service to the Indian Community.
The event was held at Hyatt Regency Hotel at Rosemont. Governor JB Pritzker, Former Governor Pat Quinn, U.S Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi, State Senators, Mayors, political Leaders, Company Executives, Business people, Diplomats from various Asian countries and around 1000 guests attended.
Nomination Board from 10 different countries voted for selecting the Nominee. Traditionally at the AACC’s Annual Gala, the Coalition recognizes one outstanding individual for this award.
Gladson Varghese is also the Chairman of GOPIO Chicago, served in the Executive Board of several Indian Associations and part of Several Charity organization. He did his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Prestigious Engineering school Purdue University and MBA in Operations Management from Purdue University and working as the President of U.S Techtronics and Divisional Director of GE.
The Coalition’s Exemplary Community Service Award was established to recognize an individual who has distinguished themselves through outstanding academic achievement and contributions to the humanity at large and Asian American community in particular.
That is through, although not limited to, meritorious service supporting the AACC’s vision and mission.
