With over 200 members and guests converging at Swaminarayan Mandir in Wheeling, the United Senior Pariwar (USP) of Chicago celebrated HanumanJayanti and Ram Navmi with a lot of devotion and religious fervor.
The program started with Deep Pragatya celebrating Ram Navmi and Hanuman Jayanti. The Deep Pragatya was performed by USP President Ramanbhai Patel, Vice President Chhitubhai Patel, Manjulaben C. Patel, Treasurer HashmukhbhaiSoni and Secretary Ramesh Chokshi, The Matras and shloaks were chanted by priest Rohitbhai Joshi.
Secretary Chowksi welcomed all members and gave broad highlights of the program, talking about Ram Navmi and Hanuman Jayanti, Ilaben Parikh, Smitaben Sutariya, Meenaben Patel, Suresh Rami, Hemaben Rana, and Nalinkant Parikh sang bhajans. This was followed by celebration of the birthdays of those people falling in the months of March and April.
